Apple just sent out press invites for their event they’re hosting on March 9, 2015 at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, located in San Francisco, CA. The event is titled, “Spring Forward”, with the notion that it will focused primarily on the release of the long awaited Apple Watch, with preorders finally beginning and ready to ship mid-March or early April. Rumors around the web speculate that Apple has prepared over six million devices for launch, making it one of the biggest product launches yet.

The base model Apple Watch is set to start at $349, which to most consumers is an affordable price tag for such an item. It serves as a fashion accessory, as well as another electronic gadget that we will find ourselves using every day to make our lives easier. The highest end model the Apple Watch “Edition” is reported to be priced around 10k. Ouch. Whatever your budget and needs are for a new timepiece, Apple seems to have it figured out with both style and function included in all of their models.

Tim Cook has been quoted that he wears his Apple Watch all day and even wears it “in the shower”. This suggests that it may have some water resistance or be fully waterproof. We won’t know the full details until March 9th.

A Live stream of the March 9th event will be hosted and online on Apple.com and will give the public a hands on look of the unveiling and rest of the Apple Watch details at the very same time the press gets them. The event starts at 10AM Pacific time, so mark your calendars and have your Macbook ready, so you can watch the rest of the story unfold.
